What is Christianity Explored?

Christianity Explored (CE) is a study of the book of Mark where questions are encouraged and new people are welcomed to come as they are. Although it is a refreshing course for Christians, it is ideal for those who have never been to a church or opened a Bible, for those who might consider themselves Christian but who haven’t been to church or opened a Bible in a long time, or for those who simply want to grow in understanding the Bible and the Christian faith.

What happens?

After watching a video clip, participants are encouraged to share their thoughts, ask questions, and raise objections. Everyone will be treated with respect and valued regardless of what they say or how they say it. Because we want everyone to be at ease, we don’t force participation and (don’t worry) you’ll never be asked to sing, pray, or read out loud. Visit and simply listen, or visit and discuss.

What do I need to do to visit?

Simply stop by on a Wed Night (starting Sept 4) at 6:30pm-7:30pm (in the upstairs main building), follow the signs to the CE course, and join in. The course runs for 12 weeks and then starts all over again. Those who want to benefit the most will want to be there for every week, but you are welcomed to jump in or out at any point, or simply visit once to see what it’s all about.

Have Questions?

If you’d like to know more, please ask the course facilitator Joshua or visit the Christianity Explored website to learn more about what to expect and hear from those who have participated in a course.
