The pattern of the early church was this - Acts 2:42 "And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers (ESV)." Prayer is not only a spontaneous response to God throughout the day but "the prayers" indicates focused times of prayer together. Join us for any of our focused times of prayer or request prayer.
9:30AM Wed Morning
This is our Intercessory Prayer Group. We not only pray for the cares and concerns of our congregation, but for our community, nation and world. We have members from Cornerstone and friends from other area churches joining us. Young and old are both invited. The time goes from 9:30-11:30am. Contact Jim Hall for more information or simply join us.
If you are interested in joining together with other moms and grandmas in simple, conversational prayer for your children and their schools, or adult children, we invite you to join us in prayer, either on Sunday evenings from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m., or Thursday mornings from 10:00-11:15 a.m. For more info on the Sunday evening meeting contact: Axa Carnes, (803) 917-4559, firstname.lastname@example.org. Or, if you are interested in the Thursday morning, class contact Brenda Moore, (803) 319-4275 email@example.com
6pm Sun Evening,
The second Thursday of each month our elders gather and commit the first hour of their session meeting to prayer. If you would like us to pray for you in person, please let Pastor Knott know you plan to join us at 6:30pm. It would be our honor to pray for you.
