At Cornerstone we desire to come alongside of parents to help raise their children to know, love, and follow the Lord. We do this through prayer, proclamation, praise and recreation in numerous ways on Sundays and throughout the week.
Our Children's Ministry Director is Mrs. Debbie Wenger. Please don't hesitate to reach out to her to learn more about our Children's Department and ask any questions.
We're eager to grow our ministry to young families and to ensure that Cornerstone continues to be a safe and inviting place for young children and families to grow.

Learn more about Family Worship, an ideal time to meet with the pastor, staff, other parents and to help your children better engage with the worship service to follow! 1st Sundays of the month, 9:30am next to the Sanctuary.
Nursery is provided during Sunday School and the worship service. We have a clean spacious room and caring adults who love to hold, care for, and play with infants and toddlers. Each child is assigned a unique number each Sunday (with a matching number given to parents) for safety and we require all of our workers to pass a background check before working with infants and children. The nursery room is located on the 1st floor near the end of the hallway.
Our elementary Sunday school is for children grades K-5th grade and meets in the 1st floor room closest to the Sanctuary. Our time begins with praising the Lord and praying (and keeping track of God's answers to prayer). We include an interactive lesson that roots our children in the Word of God and we end with a review game.
WEDNESDAY NITE LIFE
- Our Family dinner begins at 5:30 p.m in the Fellowship Hall (there is no charge, but donations are appreciated)
- From 6:30-8:30 there are activities for children and teens.
- At 6:30pm elementary age children are dismissed at 6:30 to Rm B9 where they take part in our children's choir and learn through skits and games. At 7:15 they move to their Bible Activity in room B18. WNL Resumes January 10th and runs through May.
We love having children with their families in worship. For those who would prefer to have their children attend a time preparing them for "big church," we offer a Jr. Church. During the hymn before the sermon, parents may bring (or dismiss) their children to the back of the sanctuary where our Jr. Church leaders will take them downstairs to room B27. Children in 1st or 2nd grade are welcome to join as teacher helpers. This time includes singing, a Bible lesson and learning activities. Parents must pick them up at the conclusion of the worship service.
