Dear Parents,

At Cornerstone, we desire to help parents raise children to know, love, and follow the Lord.

Practically, we do this, in part, by meeting together for fellowship and teaching on Wed nights and Sunday mornings.

Our Children's Ministry Director is Mrs. Debbie Wenger.  Please use the contact us form to reach out to her with any questions or concerns.

nursery

Nursery is available during Sunday School and the worship service. We have a clean, spacious room and loving adults who enjoy holding, caring for, and playing with infants and toddlers. We also require all of our workers to pass a background check before working with infants and children. The nursery room is located in the children's ministry hallway on the basement level.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Our preschool/elementary Sunday School is available for children who are 3 years old through 5th grade and meets at 9:30 am in the basement children’s wing. We begin in our classrooms (preschool or elementary) with time for sharing and praying together. Then, we join together for singing and an interactive lesson that roots our children in the Word of God, followed by dividing to our age-specific groups for activities to help us apply the truths we have just learned to our daily lives.

Junior Church

We love having children worship with their families during the service. For those preferring to have their children attend a teaching time during the sermon, we offer Jr. Church for ages 4 through 4th grade. At the start of the sermon, children gather at the back of the sanctuary and are taken downstairs. After the service, parents usually pick up their children from the main children’s classroom on the basement level. On first Sundays of the month, children are brought back to the sanctuary before Communion so that parents can take their children to the front with them and ask the elders to pray for their children.

Jr. Church typically consists of a Bible story that builds on what was covered in Sunday School, a short craft, and fun & creative ways of memorizing Bible verses, “songs of the Faith”, and questions from the First Catechism.

For those preferring to keep their children in the service with them, there are kids' bulletins available on the kids' table in the narthex, which assist children in following along, and hopefully participating, with the order of service.
